Important:
Do not substitute the capillaries mentioned in the above table for
any other capillary.

Connect the capillary to the pump. Bend the capillary for connection to the
flow splitter if necessary.

Rinse the capillary with isopropanol, via the pump (maximum flow rate, 5
minutes).

Connect the capillary to the flow splitter (
→
pump connector, Fig. 11, no. 6).
Tip:
The pump outlet connector and flow splitter are equipped with a filter frit
to catch any particles that might have entered the capillary during
installation. Usually, it is not necessary to change these frits.

Establish the connection to the capillary connector (

Fig. 11, no. 4) as required by
your application. For the system structure shown in Fig. 14, connect the capillary to
