26.2.6.3 Checking the structure of the turning device

Visually check the turning device – in particular its welded seams, and the
attachment points of the joints and the turning bearing.

Lubricate to turning bearing and the gear ring (see point “Lubrication instructions”).
NOTE
Do not press too much grease into the turning bearing, as the gaskets of the
bearing might get out of position.

Check the turning bearing bolts for
tightness.

Check the axial play of the turning bearing. The play must not exceed 1 mm.
NOTE
If you have to turn open or tighten the attachment bolts, do not forget to use bonding
adhesive (tighten crosswise)
26.2.6.4 Checking the limit switches

Check the attachment, cleanliness, and externally the condition of the limit switches.
Also pay attention to the condition of the limit switch covers and conductors.

