allowed inclination has been exceeded.

The lift is equipped with a system that
indicates the safe turning direction of the
turning device so that the boom system
can be moved to the transport position in
case the inclination exceeds the allowed value
5°
. The signal
lights H23 and H24 indicate the safe turning direction. Under
normal operation, both lights are illuminated.

Never take on additional load while in the
upper position. The platform load control
prevents all the movements if the platform is
overloaded. The signal light H19 indicates possible overload.

Test the operation of the emergency descent system before lifting
the work platform from the transport position, as follows:
1. Lift the boom (turning the JSL to the front) about 1-2
metres, extend the boom extensions 1-2 metres (JS3 up)
and depress the emergency stop button – the engine and
the movement should now stop.
2. Start the emergency descent unit (pushbutton S13), retract
the telescope (lever switch S18 or pushbutton S32) and
lower the boom (lever switch S17).
3. Pull up the emergency stop button.
NOTE
The boom movements are noticeably slower when the emergency descent system is
used.
NOTE
Remember to use a safety harness while on the work platform.
12.4.1 Operating the boom from the platform control centre UCB

The power switch Q1 in the LCB centre must be turned to the right : Platform
control panel. Take the keys with you before stepping onto the work platform.

Activate the foot pedal and keep it depressed. The use of the foot pedal is
explained in the point Driving to the front and to the rear.

The boom movements operate as described in the following table.

