In ‘Bluetooth Settings’, under the ‘Options’ tab, 
enable the following features:

Check the box for ‘Allow Bluetooth devices to 
find this computer’.

Check the box for ‘Allow Bluetooth devices to 
connect to this computer’.  

 

•

 

Check the box for ‘Alert me when a new 
Bluetooth device wants to connect’.  

 

•

 

Check the box for ‘Show the Bluetooth icon in 
the notification area’.

Depending on the version of the operating system, or the Bluetooth

installed, the ‘Bluetooth Settings’ dialog box may appear differently.

Press the ENT key one time to navigate to the ‘Bluetooth’ parameter. Confirm that it is

Press the ENT key two times to navigate to ‘Add 
PC/Printer’ parameter. This screen indicates that 
the device is discoverable. Press the OD key to 
initiate a scan.
