Orbitor 3000 Reference Manual— A-13

* LAN X adapter would not stop

Generated when attempting to stop the LANCE after a fatal error.  Indicates that the LANCE failed to
stop as directed.

* Link X attached to remote site AA

Generated when a PPP ISDN call is attached to a remote site.

* Link X control signals down

Generated when a high-to-low transition is detected on the CD control signal.  Note that there is no
associated event for the low-to-high transition.

* Link X compression negotiation failure (#)

Generated when a failure condition causes a link to be reset.

* Link X - CSU/DSU not responding, Power Cycle Device!

Generated when the Orbitor cannot establish communications with the CSU/DSU link module.  The
power must be cycled on the Orbitor to cause a restart of the CSU/DSU module.

* Link X down

Generated when a WAN link is lost.

* Link X down to AA

Generated when a PPP ISDN call to a remote site is dropped.

* Link X unable to compress

Generated when one bridge/router has compression enabled and the peer bridge/router does not (i.e. the
peer bridge/router does not have compression hardware or has compression disabled).

* Link X up at X baud

Generated when a WAN link is established.

* Mixture of IP network and subnet addresses on WAN

Generated when this bridge/router detects the existence of both IP network addresses and subnets on the
WAN interconnected bridge/routers.  The bridge/router may not be used to route between an IP network
and an IP sub-network.

Generated during a cold start when no saved configuration is available.

* Not Communicating with ISDN U Module

Generated when the bridge/router cannot communicate with the ISDN U Module.  This may be due to
hardware incompatibility, such as a revision B main board.  Please contact your service representative for
