Orbitor 3000 Reference Manual— A-5

No NCP's open, tearing link down

Generated when a PPP link does not have a Network Control Protocol operating.  This may be due to
IPCP and IPXCP being disabled, or the NCP connection was not negotiated to completion.

Partner will disable a link

Generated after detection of two “multipoint” links connected to the same partner bridge/router.  The
bridge/router with the higher MAC address prints this event.

Password timer has expired

Generated when a bridge/router has issued the password prompt for a Telnet connection and timed out
waiting for the password to be supplied.

PVC X status enquiry unacknowledged.

Generated when the Frame Relay switch fails to respond to a status enquiry in the requisite time.

PVC X transmit limit decreased to xxxxx (FECN)

Generated when congestion conditions on the WAN are indicated because the number of FECN frames
received, exceeded the number of clear frames, in the last time interval.

PVC X transmit limit increased to xxxxx

Generated when congestion conditions on the WAN are alleviated because the number of FECN frames
received, was exceeded by the number of clear frames, in the last measurement interval.
