INTEGRATION AND TOTALIZATION MODE
It Totalizes thevalue of the analog signal applied to any analog input AI 1..2..3, or of any internally
calculated value, in function of the selected time between 1 and 28800 s.
Example: It is required to know in L the the Total accumulated in a specific period of time, of
a 4-20mA signal of a flowmeter expressed in L/h. The integration time factor to set for this
example is 3600 s (1 hour).
The integradtor function could be fully displayed on the Main Menu once the INT function is
enabled.
- In the HS-7300, the display capability is 4 + 4 digits (9999 + 9999)
- In the HS-7200, the display capability is 6 digits (999999)
- In the HS-7500, as it is not provided with a display, the counter stores the value in a register
with a capability of 2

units.
This function allows the possibility to select the Integration of negative values in a way that,
when the input signal is negative the Totalizer decreases the integrated value (see Configuration).
RESET AND INHIBITION OF TOTALIZER
The Counter Function is provided with reset function to set to 0000 the Totalizer and Counting
Inhibition, by internal or external commands.
From keypad, press ‘*’ key to Inhibit the counter and ‘#’ key to reset the Totalizer (factory
setting). These operations can be done by external signal applied to logic input D1, or internally
by any logic signal assigned during programming.
These functions should be configured by the LoopWin software.

Parameterization
The function Integrator is provided with a Hi-Alarm threshold, allowing to preset a value of up
to 8 digits, that when the Total value reaches this value, the AL output of the Counter block
is set to 1.

Configuration
The Programming should be realized by the LoopWin software for the configuration of all the
parameters of the Integrator.

Applications
Dosing
Totalization of the (Liters) in a specific period of time, of an analog signal
4-20 mA of a flowmeter in L/h, giving a signal to close the valve of the flow, when the total
reaches the preset value in the Integrator.
The integration time factor should be 3600 s (1 hour).
Columbímetro
Totalization of the (Amperes) in a specific period of time, of an analog signal
4-20 mA of a Current transformer in A, for applications of Electrolysis, galvanic baths, etc.,
giving a signal to close the general switch, when the total reaches the preset value in the
Integrator.
The integration time factor should be 3600 s (1 hour).
