MANUAL TUNING OF OTHER CONTROL VARAIBLES
TIME CYCLE [CY 1] AND [CY 2] OF TIME PROPORTIONAL CONTROL (Relay)

CY 1 (Reverse) or CY 2 (Direct)
Allows the control total modulation time settings (ON+ OFF), applied to the final actuator
element of the process control (i.e. Contactors, On/Off Valves, Burners, etc.).
It is used to adapt the control action to the type of actuator. Factory setting value is Cy = 20
s. Limits: 1 to 9999 s.
Used only in Time Proportional Control . Relay or Logic output

Recommended Time Cycle “CY” .
- Relay or contactors rate 25 A
Cy = 10 to 20 s.
- High power Contactor
Cy = 20 to 120 s.
- On-Off type Valves
Cy = 10 to 60 s.
- Thyristors and Semiconductors
Cy = 1 to 10 s.
PID AUTOTUNING PULSE
- Allows to modify the Autotuning Pulse amplitud to fit the process requirements.
- The Pulse amplitud set in factory 100% suitable to Ziegler Nichols method.
- This value, should not be modified except if the process characteristics requires to use the
Relay metod for the correct calculation of the PID parameters.
- Read carefully the PID Autotuning procedure before changing the pulse value.
LOAD AND SAVE OF PID PARAMETERS
Some times, during the process operation, it might be necessary to modify the PID values for
provisional test purpose, without losing the original values. This function allows to operate with
the modified PID values, with the option to save
(SAVE)
the new values or recover
(LoAd)
the
original values.
- Introduce in
[PASS]
the password of level 2, press
displaying directly the option
[Auto]
[Pid 1]
of Loop 1, press
to shift to
[Auto] [Pid 2]
and
[Auto] [Pid 3]
of Loops 2 and
3.
- Select the Pid of the correspondent Loop and press
or
to display the following options:
[LoAd] [Pid n] Load PID Parameters
- With
[LoAd] flickering, if key
is pressed the PID values saved in memory will replace the
actual values.
[SAVE] [Pid n] Save PID Parameters
- With
[SAVE] flickering, if key
is pressed the actual PID values will be saved in memory.
