OPERATION OF FUNCTIONS OF MAIN MENU
CONTROL SETPOINTS [SP 1] [SP 2] and [SP 3]
Allow to see and modify the setpoint values of each loop.
Each one of the SP 1...3 , could be linked en any of the used Loops L1, L2 or L3, or could be
protected under one of the 4 Password levels. Besides, could be visible, modifiable or hidden
(by program) in the menu, depending on the user requirements.
The maximum limit is ± 32000 points, however, by programming, could be limited to any value
in-between.
NOTE: The HS-7300, although by communication a range of ± 32000 points could be set,
because the display available is a 4-digit display, --1999 to 9999, over these limits will show
the over range messages Over or Unde.
The number od decimals 0, 1, 2 o 3, can be defined by program or by front keypad. Refer to
Configuration.
CONTROL SETPOINT SETTING
VERY IMPORTANT: There are two modes to modify the Setpoint value (SP).
●
Direct mode: Increasing or decreasing the value using the keys and .
●
Shift mode: Shifting digit by digit and increasing from 0 to 9.
Modification of Control Setpoints [SP 1] [SP 2] and [SP 3]
- Select using key the loop to check L1 , L2 or L3 , indicated by the corresponding LED.
Each loop L1 , L2 or L3 shows the setpoint [SP 1] , [SP 2] or [SP 3] respectively .
DIRECT ACCESS PROCEDURE:
- Once the loop to modify is selected, press the key and the display SP start flickering,
(the middle display in the HS-7300 or the lower one in the HS-7200 when programmed as
controller).
- Modify the setpoint using the keys or until the desired value.
- Press the key the display stop flickering and return to its inicial status.
This method can be used to realize small modifications of the SP value.
SHIFT MODE PROCEDURE:
- Once the loop to modify is selected, press the key twice, the display will show SP 1 (in
loop 1) or SP 2 or SP 3 (in loops 2 and 3 respectively). The unity digit (first to the right)start
flickering.
- Press to modify the value of the flickering didgit, then press to shift to the second digit,
and repat the process using key until the desired value is achieved in each digit.
- Once the value is modified, press to store the new value and to go to the next option,
or several times until NORMAL DISPLAY is reached .
NOTE: If the introduced value of any of the Setpoints SP 1 , SP 2 or SP 3 , is higher than the
High or Low limits already set in the Configuration menu, this value will be displayed but when
validation key
is pressed, the value stored will be the High or Low preset value, depending
on the exceeded limit.
