Loop 1, 2 or 3
This function improve the PID control, by adjusting the response of the process.
PID Parameters Settings
[MAn] [Pid 1]
[Pid 2
] or
[Pid 3
] of
Loop 1, 2 or 3
Allows to modify, Manually, the PID parameters and the other Control parameters.

[LoAd] and Save [SAVE] [Pid 1]
[Pid 2
] or
[Pid 3
] of
Loop 1, 2 or 3
Allows to Load and Save the calculated or modified PID values.
The operation of every option is explained next:
PID AUTOTUNING
Allows to calculate automatically the PID parameters of the
Reverse
or
Direct
actions (Heat
or Cool) and
Bimodal
(Heat-Cool).
This methode is based on an algoritm which apply to the Control Output a pulse with
configurable amplitud (Autotuning Pulse) producing a response in the process. Depending on
the process response, the instrument will calculate the PID values for this process, replacing
the existing values.
The
HS-7000
Series is provided with two Autotuning methods.
ZIEGLER NICHOLS METHOD
The most common method is Ziegler Nichols, where the PID parameters are calculated by means of
the natural frequency of the process. This method is suitable for low response processes such as
Temperature, RH, etc.
For this method, the Autotuning pulse value is set in factory to 100%. This means that the pulse
amplitud applied is 100% of the Control output.
IMPORTANT:
Modify this value, only, in case the ‘Relay’ method is used to realize the
Autotunng function.
