Chapter 10  Rechargeable Battery Cartridge Charging and Replacement 

A warning beep will sound when the battery level of the rechargeable battery cartridge becomes low. When the warning beep 
sounds, charge the rechargeable battery cartridge. 

While charging, it is normal for the scanner body and the battery charger to become hot.

 Handling precautions 

●

  Charge in the following locations. 

  - Locations with an ambient temperature between 10

°

C and 40

°

C 

  - Locations with humidity between 20% and 80% 
  - Locations with little dust and no excessive vibration 
  - Locations which will not come into contact with water 

●

  Do not place the scanner or rechargeable battery cartridge in direct sunlight (closed vehicles, etc.) or in high-temperature 

locations. 

●

  Avoid charging in locations where noise etc. is present, such as near general telephones, televisions, radios, etc. 

●

  Unplug from the outlet when not in use. 

●

  Occasionally clean the charging terminals with a cotton swab, etc. The battery will not charge correctly if the terminals are 

dirty.
