Sleep mode conserves power by stopping computer activity, but leaves the computer
ready to resume operations immediately. Use sleep mode when you leave the com-
puter unattended for more than a few minutes. Enter sleep mode by pressing the
sleep button on the keyboard or the power/sleep button on the front of the computer
for one second. Resume normal computer activity by moving the cursor, pressing any
key on the keyboard, or pressing the power/sleep button for one second.
The sleep button on the keyboard only takes the computer from normal operation to
sleep mode, or from sleep mode to normal operation.
