You can change the settings for the Internet, Search, and Mail keys by using the
Hotkey Setup in the Windows Control Panel as follows:
1. Click the Start button, point to Settings , and then click Control Panel .
2. Double-click the Hotkey Setup icon and make the desired changes for each key:

Internet key — modify the Internet Browser home page.

Search key — modify the Search Page home page.
‡
Mail key — modify the pathname to your e-mail application program under
the
Email Reader .
3. Click OK .
The new settings are active immediately.
Two USB port connectors are located on the bottom of the keyboard (see Figure 1-4):
one for attaching the mouse (interchangeable for left or right-handed use), and one for
attaching another device, such as a game controller.

Your computer uses USB ports, a connectivity standard that simplifies attaching
devices, such as printers, scanners, and game controllers. With USB technology, you
can connect devices while the computer is on. Plug any USB-compliant device into
any USB port connector, and the computer automatically detects the device.
When you install a USB device, use the following guidelines.
