Removing the Optional Internal Hard Drive

Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect
the system from its electrical outlet.

Open the system. See "Opening the System" on page 58.

Remove the cooling shroud. See "Removing the Cooling Shroud" on
page 60.
4
Remove the eight screws that secure the internal hard drives to the hard-
drive assembly. See Figure 3-5.

Remove the internal hard drives.
