Remove the hinge cover (see "Removing the Hinge Cover" on page 157).

Remove the display assembly (see "Removing the Display Assembly" on
page 162).

Remove the keyboard (see "Removing the Keyboard" on page 159).

Remove any installed mini cards (see "Removing a Mini Card" on
page 153).

Remove the palm rest (see "Removing the Palm Rest" on page 169).

Remove the system board (see "Removing the System Board" on
page 171), and place it upside-down on a clean work surface.

Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.

Using a #0 Phillips screwdriver, remove the four M2 x 3-mm screws, and
lift the fan from the system board.
