Jam (Retrans)
There is a card jam near
the retransfer rollers.
1 Remove the jammed card from the retransfer
section.
2 Press Reset, and then Return to initialize the
printer.

Film Search
The retransfer film is
broken or missing.
1 Repair the retransfer film as described in
“Mending
broken ink ribbon or retransfer film” on page 62
.
2 Press Reset, Next, and then Return to initialize the
film one panel.
Film Run Out
The retransfer film has run
out.
1 Replace with new roll of retransfer film as
described in
“Load retransfer film” on page 11
.
2 Initialize the new roll of film as described in
“Initialize the ink ribbon and retransfer film” on
page 14
.
Ink Search
The ink ribbon is broken.
1 Repair the ink ribbon as described in
“Mending
broken ink ribbon or retransfer film” on page 62
.
2 Press Reset, Next, and then Return to initialize the
printer and supplies.
Ink Run Out
The ink ribbon has run out.
1 Replace with a new roll of ink ribbon as described
in
“Load ink ribbon” on page 10
.
2 Press Reset, Next, and then Return to initialize the
printer and supplies.
Ink Error
The ink ribbon is not
installed or the ribbon
installed is not supported.
1 Install a supported ink ribbon.
2 Press Reset, Next, and then Return to initialize the
printer and supplies.
Please Adjust Turn Unit
Pos!
The card turnover unit is
not in the correct position.
1 Turn the unit to the home position using a Jog Dial,
as described in
“Turnover jam” on page 60
.
2 Press Reset, and then Return to initialize the
printer. Call for service if the problem persists.
Cam Error
Heat roller operation error.
1 Press Reset, and then Return to initialize the
printer.
2 Call for service if the problem persists.
No Card
1 There are no cards in
the card hopper.
2 The card hopper has
been removed.

“Load cards” on
page 8
.
2 Replace the card hopper securely as described in
“Replace the Hopper” on page 9
.
Door Open
The printer door is open, or
a supply cartridge or
cleaning unit is missing.
1 Insert all supply cartridges and the cleaning unit.
2 Close the printer door.
3 Press Reset, and then Return to initialize the
printer.
Hardware
There is a hardware error.
Turn the power switch off and then on again. Call for
service if the problem persists.
