The default settings will be adopted for all connected cameras. The memory will be assi-
gned in equal parts to every camera. Recording (permanent) will be activated for all con-
nected cameras.

B-Frames
The option
B-Fr.
(B frames) is available for all Dallmeier IP cameras in the
Recording
Settings
dialog. If the camera supports this function (Dallmeier IP cameras V. 2.3.0 or
higher) it can be set to encode the images with or without B frames.

B frames active
The camera is sending the video stream with B frames.
Encoding on the camera and decoding on the recorder require more time (min. 120 ms).
This results in an addition delay. But the video quality (depending on the bit rate) can be
increased in some cases.
B frames inactive
The camera is sending the video stream without B frames.
Encoding on the camera and decoding on the recorder do not result in an additional delay.
But the video quality (depending on the bit rate) can be reduced in some cases.
6.6
Activation
Recording in a camera’s LP-track or S-track can be activated anytime. When no recording
configuration is done (see above) the default settings of the
Permanent
recording mode
will be valid.

The button will be displayed in a color corresponding to the set recording mode.
