10.14 Screen Update (Refresh)
The
DFX-7
has a maximum screen redraw rate of
120Hz
. While it’s extremely fast
for a digital flaw detector, it also requires additional power as it draws more current.
As a result, we’ve opted to include an option to toggle between
60Hz
and
120Hz
in
order to provide the user the option to conserve on battery life. The procedure to
toggle this option is outlined below:
Selecting the Refresh
1) Press the
MENU
key once to activate the menu items tab. Press the
MENU
key multiple times to tab right and the
ESC
key multiple times to tab left until
the
PRB
menu is highlighted and displaying the submenu items.
2) Use the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys to scroll through the sub menu items
until
SCREEN UPDATE
is highlighted.
3) Use the
LEFT
and
RIGHT
arrow keys to toggle
60Hz
or
120Hz
.
4) Once the desired
SCREEN UPDATE
is displayed, press the
MEAS
key to
return to the measurement screen.
