3.11 Reactor
3.11.1 Checking procedures
To perform an electrical check of the reactor
Prerequisite:
Stop the unit operation via the user interface.
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.

Remove the required plate work, see
DANGER: RISK OF ELECTROCUTION
Wait for at least 10 minutes after the circuit breaker has been turned OFF, to be sure
the rectifier voltage is below 10 V DC before proceeding.

Visually check the reactor for any damage or burnt‑out components. If any
damage is found, replace the reactor, see
Class 20~42 units

Check the connections of the reactor on the main PCB and check continuity of
the wires, see

Remove the Faston connectors from the reactor.

Using a megger device of 500 V DC, check the insulation resistance. Make sure
there is no earth leakage.
Is the measured insulation resistance
correct?
Action
Yes
Continue with the next step.
No

Measure the resistance of the reactor.
Result:
The measured resistance MUST be 105.3~128.7 mΩ.
Is the resistance measurement correct? Action
Yes
