compatible for playback on DVD Players. DVD+RW
discs do not require finalization. Once a disc has been
finalized, this option is no longer available when the disc

DVD+R disc is inserted in the recorder.

This option appears in place of FINALIZE when there is
a DVD+RW disc in the recorder. Unlike DVD+R discs,
DVD+RW discs do not require finalization before they
are suitable for playback in standard DVD players.
However, you'll need to select this function to create or
update the Title Menu on your recordings, as well as to
update any edits you've made, such as renaming a title.
This option is only available when a DVD+RW disc is
inserted in the recorder.
