You cannot use this recorder with only
the RF connection. The A/V Cable is
required to transmit the Audio/Video
signals from the unit.

The RF Antenna/Cable TV connections
are used only for the built-in TV Tuner
and as a passthrough for the signal
from your antenna /cable to your TV.
Your TV must be equipped with AV inputs like those pictured to the
right in order to connect this unit. If your TV does not have AV inputs,
you will need a RF Modulator to connect the recorder to your TV's
antenna/cable input as shown below. RF Modulators are available at
major electronics retailers.
RF Cable
Use the AV (Audio/Video) cable
provided to connect the DVD
recorder's Video (YELLOW) and
Stereo Audio (R-RED, L-WHITE)
outputs to your TV.

Connect your TV Antenna or Cable
TV input to the Recorder's
ANTENNA INPUT, then use the RF
Cable provided to connect the TV
OUT to your TV.
