The PIP function allows you to watch TV at the same
time as viewing a DVD disc, listening to a Music CD or
enjoying a Slideshow of JPG images.
Picture-In-Picture only works in DVD Playback mode,
not in TV Tuner mode - You cannot view two TV
channels at the same time.
To use Picture-In-Picture, you must first switch back
to DVD Playback Mode by pressing
DVD/TV LIVE
.

Press the

button on the remote control to enable
Picture-In-Picture.
A small TV screen appears in the lower left portion
of the screen. You can use the

keys to change
channels just as when viewing TV in full-screen
mode.
You can also view another Video Input Source in the
small PIP window by selecting it with the
SOURCE
key.

To cancel Picture-In-Picture and remove the small
window from the screen, press
PIP
again.
To return to full-screen TV TUNER mode, press
DVD/TV LIVE
again.

Once you have configured your channels, you can begin
using the recorder's built-in TV TUNER for Recording or
simply watching your favorite programs.
When the unit is first turned on, the DVD
PLAYBACK mode is selected by default. Press
DVD/TV LIVE
to switch to TV TUNER mode.
