CONTROLLER SETUP
The following section describes how to customize the controller for your
particular application. Normally, this setup needs to be done only once.
Setup parameters are grouped under the functions: ROOM1 / ROOM2,
USER, RELAY ASSIGNMENT and PROBE ASSIGNMENT. The controller
can control two different rooms at the same time. The ROOM1 /
ROOM2 setup is used to select the room on which the settings will be
applied on. The USER setup is used for configuring display units, probe
inputs, etc. The RELAY ASSIGNMENT setup is used for configuring the
outputs. The PROBE ASSIGNMENT setup is used to make probe assign-
ments.
The parameters are presented below in the order they appear on the
display. Press the down-arrow key to step to the next parameter. Press
the Edit key and use the arrow keys to adjust a parameter value. When
you are finished adjusting a parameter, press the Edit key to return to
display mode or move to the next parameter. The user should step
through all the parameters under these functions at least once.
ROOM 1 / ROOM 2
The Expert-32T can operate ventilation and heating equipment in order
to maintain the target temperature in two seperate rooms. Each room
operates independently one from the other, each of them has its own
temperature set point and its own parameter settings. It is like having
two seperate controllers in one.
The pilot light next to ROOM1 or ROOM 2 of the output status indicates
which room is selected. All adjustments being done will only be effective
on the selected room. All parameters must be set seperately from one
room to the other so make sure to select the correct room before setting
any parameter. Few parameters in the user setup are common to both
rooms.
