Expansion storage Units (ESUs) on ClusterStor L300 and L300N systems extend the storage capacity of an SSU
with controllers. Each SSU in the system is paired with 1 or 2 ESUs and each ESU includes 2 EBOD controllers.
The EBOD controllers are cabled directly to EAC 0 and 1 in their associated SSU using 6Gb/s or 12Gb/s mini-
SAS HD expansion cables.
