16.3.3 Cable AMMU SAS 1U Servers
The advanced MMU (AMMU) is an optional 4U replacement for the MMU in the base rack. It is intended for
systems that have a requirement for high single directory file create and metadata operation rate. The AMMU
includes two 1U servers connected via SAS cables to a 2U24 EBOD storage unit.
The AMMU provides the same functions and storage resources as the MMU in a ClusterStor L300 and L300N
base rack.
