• Average adult males – Small mask
• Average adult females – Extra Small mask
• Between sizes -> Choose smaller size

Align top of gauge with bridge of nose and measure to bottom of chin , Head cap sizes match mask sizes
MASK Mode set-up
1. Select or create a new patient and tap

.
2. Connect the turbine flowmeter electrical cable to the Q-NRG turbine flowmeter connector.
3. Connect a sampling line between the “Patient” port of Q-NRG and the port on the turbine flowmeter.
4. Place face mask, head cap and flowmeter on patient as shown in the image below.
5. Make sure there is no air leak between patient’s face and mask to avoid underestimation of measurement.
6. Tap
Start
to begin measurement.
Operating Q-NRG in MASK Mode
1. Real-time data are displayed on-screen, measurements are displayed after approximately 90 seconds.
2. Data are stored automatically after 2 minutes (or as defined in Settings/Advanced), tap

to
store data immediately.
