Operating by AC Power or Battery
Q-NRG can be powered by the rechargeable battery or plugged into the wall outlet. Prior to starting a
measurement using battery power, make sure that the residual capacity displayed on the LCD is enough to start a
test (at least 15% for a test lasting 10 minutes, depending also on the battery’s age).
Note:
Q-NRG can also be connected to external power during a test.
Warming-up Time
The sensors (O2, CO2, pressure, etc.) are sensitive to temperature changes. The temperature of an electrically
powered device may increase at the start of operation. Q-NRG has been designed to compensate for sensor thermal
drift using technological solutions including periodic auto-calibration (undetectable to the user). This allows an REE
test to begin after only 5 minutes of warm-up.
