CANOPY Mode

• 

The veil must be carefully wrapped around the patient to avoid air leaks which may cause VO2 and VCO2 
underestimation.

• 

Blower flow rate within the selected averaging interval shall be constant.

MASK Mode

• 

VO2 and VCO2 accuracy relies on the measurement of the entire exhaled volume. Positioning and securing 
the mask must ensure that there are no leak.
