Installing the Cable Management Arm

To attach the cable management arm:

NOTE:

The following procedure describes installing the Cable Management Arm supplied

with the ProLiant 8500 server. For complex rack installations including a large number of
cables, you can obtain an optional High Capacity Cable Management Arm available as an
option kit, part number 124711-B21.

Slide the server into the rack.

Attach the cable management arm to the cable management arm bracket
using two M6 x 1.0-12L Phillips screws.
