• "Tandem mode" with only one wire in the Tandem torch ("Tandem-
Single Wire")
A wire drive unit of the master or the slave welding power source is used depend-
ing on the application. The corresponding job selection is sufficient, here 112, 113
or 212, 213. Select in the adjustments which wire is welded with which synergy
characteristic curve. Both gas valves are opened. The seam tracking signal auto-
matically comes from the welding power source which is just welding.
• Master welding power source with additional single wire torch
If the master welding power source has a second wire drive unit with a single
wire torch, one job is enough to save the required adjustments, here 151 or 152.
• "Hot transfer" of the welding parameters from the "Tandem-Single
wire" to the "Tandem mode“ and vice versa
The welding power source which is added to or removed from the Tandem
mode has to be entered in the menu item "Synergy variant" as "Tandem
leading" and in the menu item "IPS mode" as "pulse generator".
In addition, the two welding parameter lists (start and end) and the program
selection (= job selection) must remain identical in the robot controller.
