Error Message and Recovery Procedures
SNMP Messages
This section contains the Simple Network Management Protocol error messages.
Error Message
SNMP-4-NOENGINEID: Remote snmpEngineID for [IP_address] not found when
creating user:[chars]
Explanation
An attempt to create a user failed. This is probably because the engine ID of the remote
agent (or SNMP manager) was not configured.
