Setting the Default Device Load
To set the default device load for the Cisco Unified IP Conference Station in
Cisco Unified CallManager, follow these steps:
Procedure
Step 1
Copy the Cisco Unified IP Conference Station load to the C:\Program
Files\Cisco\TFTP Path directory on the Cisco Unified CallManager server.
Step 2
Start Cisco Unified CallManager Administration.
Step 3
Choose
System > Device Defaults
.
Step 4
In the Device Defaults Configuration window, scroll down to the Cisco 7936
Device Type.
Step 5
Set the Load Information to the load in the C:\Program Files\Cisco\TFTP Path
directory.
Step 6
Scroll back to the top of the page and click
Update
.
Adding a New Device
To add the Cisco Unified IP Conference Station as a new device in
Cisco Unified CallManager, follow these steps:
Procedure
Step 1
Choose
Device > Add a New Device
.
The Add a New Device page displays.
Step 2
Choose
Phone
from the Device Type drop-down list box, and click
Next
.
The Add a New Phone page displays.
Step 3
Choose the
Cisco 7936
phone type and click
Next
. (Once you select a phone type,
you cannot modify it.)
The Phone Configuration page displays.
