6.4 Electrical requirements
The XLC4 unit is designed to drive up to 4 independent LED Strings with a high, stabilized
constant current.
The switching regulators inside operate in boost mode. Therefore, the output
voltage must be higher than the supply voltage of the XLC4.

Keep in mind that a smaller voltage difference between V_ANODE and V_IN results in much
lower internal power dissipation and in higher efficiency as well.
