Enviromental conditions

4.1 General

The device is not designed for use in explosive environment.

For operation of the Corona II modules, the environmental conditions according to

DIN EN 60721-3-3 (International IEC 721-3-3): IE33

are admissible.

4.2 IP protection class

The XLC4 unit should be kept free from moisture liquids and fire because this could seriously
damage the device.

The IP protection class of the standard XLC4 is:

IP40

The IP protection class of the standard Corona II is:

IP54

The IP protection class of the fan cooling Corona II is:

IP30

The module itself is IP54

– it is limited due the fans.

The IP protection class of the tube light (Parameter ID2=

“T” and “U”) is:

IP20
