4GHz. Choose 7 test points (10MHz, 50MHz, 100MHz, 1GHz, 2GHz, 3GHz and
4GHz) within the band. Input the worst harmonic suppression value out of theses points in the Performance
Test Record. The second segment covers 4GHz
~
26.5GHz. Choose 6GHz, 8GHz, 10GHz, 12GHz, 14GHz,
16GHz, 18GHz, 20GHz, 22GHz and 24GHz, 10 points in total,
(
AV3672A only uses the first 4 points
)
. Input
the worst harmonic suppression value in the Record; AV3672C/D/E have three segments. The first one is the
same with that of AV3672A/B, the second part covers 4GHz
~
13.5GHz. Choose 6GHz, 8GHz, 10GHz and
12GHz as test points, input the worst harmonic suppression value in the Record; The third segments covers
13.5GHz
~
67GHz, choose 14GHz, 16GHz, 18GHz, 20GHz, 22GHz, 24GHz, 26GHz, 28GHz, 30GHz and 32GHz as
test points
(
AV3672C/D only uses the first 6 points
)
. Input the worst harmonic suppression value out of
the ten points in the Record;

11.2.4 Test of Maximum Output Power of Port
11.2.4.1 Items of Test of Maximum Output Power of Port
Test the maximum output power indicators of the port of AV3672 series vector network analyzers.
11.2.4.2 Required Instrument and Accessories
1)
Power meter
AV2434 or ML2437A
2)
Power probe
AV71711 or MA2475A
11.2.4.3 Steps of Test of Maximum Output Power of Port
1) As shown in Fig. 11.4, connect the system and preheat is for 60min at least.
2) Press [Reset] > [Power] > [+20] and the ENTER key.
3) Press [Sweep] > [Sweep Time] > [20] and the ENTER key.
4) Press [Frequency] > [Start frequency] and enter the start frequency 10MHz. Press [Stop frequency] and enter the
stop frequency 50MHz.
5) As shown in Fig. 11.4, calibrate/clear the power meter, connect the power probe to Port 1 and record the
minimum reading.
6) Successively change the sweep frequency of the AV3672 series vector network analyzer. In the high power
mode or filter mode required in the test, click [Channel] > [Hardware Configuration] > [Path Configuration]. Select
the high power mode or filtering mode for the low-frequency segment of Source 1. The test result is the maximum
output power of Port 1.
7) Connect the power probe to Port 2/3/4. Click [Meas] > [S22]/[S33]/[S44]. Repeat Step (4) to (6) and measure the
