11.2.2.3 Steps of Frequency Resolution Test
1) As shown in Fig. 11.2, connect the system and preheat is for 60min at least.
2) Press [Reset] to set the initial state of AV3672 series vector network analyzers.
3) Press [Sweep] > [Sweep type] > [CW] > [Frequency], and enter 10GHz. Press [Stimulus] > [Trigger] > [Hold].
Record the measurement result of the spectrum analyzer.
4) Change the center frequency by 1Hz. If the reading of the spectrum analyzer also changes by 1Hz, the frequency
resolution conforms to the technical indicator requirements.

Test the harmonic suppression indicators of frequency sweep signals output by the port of AV3672 series vector
network analyzers.

11.2.3.3 Steps of Test of Port Output Harmonic Suppression
1) As shown in Fig. 11.3, connect the system and preheat is for 60min at least.
2) Press [Reset] to set the initial state of AV3672 series vector network analyzers. Click [Channel] > [Hardware
configuration] > [Path configuration]. Select the filtering mode for the low-frequency segment of Port 1 and 3.
Press [Power] > [-5] and the ENTER key.
3) Press [Sweep] > [Sweep Time] > [10] and the ENTER key.
4) Press [Sweep] > [Sweep type] > [CW] > [Frequency], and enter 10MHz. Set the corresponding test
frequency of the spectrum analyzer and record the reading of the spectrum analyzer. Set the second
harmonic frequency of the spectrum analyzer as 20MHz and record the reading of the spectrum analyzer.
The difference of two readings is the port harmonic suppression indicator. Get difference between reading
of second harmonic and reading of main signal. Indicators of AV3672A/B are divided into two segments. The
