174 Vehicle maintenance
Tow your vehicle with wheel
lifting equipment.
1. Connect hazard warning
flashlight.
2. Turn ignition key to the ACC
position (Accessory Position).
3. Whatever transmission must be
turned to neutral position.
4. Loosen the park brake.
5. Wheels must be lifted off while
trailing.
Tow your vehicle with wheel lifting
equipment.
Please close ignition switch, check and
confirm that vehicle has been firmly
fixed on trailer if you intend to use
platform trailer to trail your vehicle.
Note
Please use towing equipment
supporting wheel at the
bottom of front wheel if you
must tow your vehicle from
the back of body.
When trailing the vehicle, it is
prohibited to make the front
wheels on the ground
Emergency trailing
When the tractor is not at the site
under the emergency situation, the
rope can be fixed at the front towing
hook of the vehicle; therefore, other
vehicles can be used for towing.
When the front towing hook is used for
towing, the towing rope must be used,
without using the rigid towing level.
Your vehicle only can be towed by
other vehicles, and cannot be used for
towing other vehicles.
