Oil of brake and clutch
The oil of brake/clutch absorbs
moisture. Excessive oil moisture will
reduce the efficiency of the hydraulic
brake/clutch system. The oil shall be
replaced according to the instruction
of this Manual to prevent corrosion of
hydraulic system.
The oil of brake/clutch recommended
by SGMW must be used. The fluid
tank shall be filled to a suitable liquid
level. The liquid level cannot be lower
than MIN mark and higher than MAX
mark.
The liquid level of the brake fluid tank
may be caused by leakage of brake
system or normal wear of brake
pad/lining.
You should confirm
whether the system is needed to be
repaired in the Authorized Workshop,
and you must fill oil after repairing the
hydraulic brake system if required.
When the brake fluid level is dropped
to the lower limit, the warning lamp
of the brake system lights up. Refer to
“Warning lamp of brake/EBD system”.
Brake Fluid filling
1. Thoroughly wipe up the dirt around
the filler cap of liquid tank.
2. Open the filler cap.
3. Fill the oil of clutch recommended
by SGMW to the MAX mark of the
reservoir. The oil cannot be
splashed on the paint surface. In
case of splashing on the paint
surface, you should immediately
wash the splashed part by cold
water.
4. Install the filler cap of liquid tank
again.
Note
Before opening the filler cap,
you must wipe up the filler cap
of oil of brake/clutch.
If
the oil system of
brake/clutch is polluted, it will
have an influence on the
system
performance and
cause expensive repair cost.
Caution
If the oil of brake/clutch is
spilt on the engine, it will be
on fire.
The fluid tank cannot be filled
excessively.
The ignition of the engine will
cause personal injury and
damage your vehicle and
other properties.
