Replace the bulb
Unless the event is very emergent, the
owner is not allowed to replace the bulbs
of headlamp unit individually, because the
light beam needs to be adjusted with some
professional knowledge. If the
replacement is necessary, please turn off
these lamps and disconnect the ignition
switch before replacing any bulb.
DO NOT directly hold the glass of bulb by
hand, otherwise the fingerprints remained
on the glass will be heated and volatilized
after the lamp lighting, and then deposit on
the surface of mirror to blacken the
reflector.
The same model of bulb must be used
when it is replaced. Please check the
specification of the bulb before
installation.
Headlamp bulb:
12V 55W
Turn signal, reversing, rear fog lamps
bulb:
12V 21W
License plate, position, turn indicator
and high-mount stop lamps bulb:
12V 5W
Stop/ position lamp bulb:
12V 21W/ 5W
Front fog lamp bulb:
12V 55W
After the headlamp bulb is
replaced every time,
calibrate the headlamp. The
Chery’s special service station can
offer you the service.
Headlamp unit (including
high beam/ low beam/
position/ turn indicator
lamps)
Replace the corresponding bulb according
to the following steps if the headlamp does
not work due to damage.
1.
Open the engine compartment
bonnet.
2.
Unscrew three nuts of headlamp
with a wrench, move the headlamp
forward about 5cm, and then pull out
the wiring harness connector in the
back of lamp holder (pulling the
connector requires skills, press the
spring on it and pull out). The
flexible device shall be pressed if the
connector has no spring, and then
press the location slot and pull it out.

Take out the headlamp and place it
on a table upside down (it is better to
place a cloth under it to prevent
damage from the bulb surface). The
turn indicator lamp shall be
unscrewed with counterclockwise
turning. For other lamps, it needs to
press the clip of bulb holder and then
take it out.
4.
The surface of new bulb shall not be
touched by hand to prevent effect on
bulb brightness. The lighting system
is a safety component, please ensure
every detail of replacement proper.
Get to the Chery’s special service
station to have it repaired if
necessary.
