ATTENTION
!
The instrument is supplied non-sterile.
Operation.
•
Operating times: work 5 sec., rest 10 sec.
• Place the instrument in its work position.
NOTE: The relative icon is shown of the display screen to signal
the instrument has been turned on.
• Operation with hot spray, air and water:
Turn the selector switch (

) clockwise (LED

on).
• Operation with cold spray, air and water:
Turn the selector switch (
f
) counter-clockwise (LED
g
off).

Turning the fi ber optic on/off.
• Set the instrument to its work position.
• Press the button
to turn on the fi ber optic.
NOTE: Icon ( A ) appears on the display to signal the fi ber optic
has been turned on.
• Adjust brightness with the “increase” (+) and/or “decrease” (-) buttons.
The set level is automatically saved.
Adjusting brightness of the fi ber optic.
• Hold down the button (at least 2 seconds) to adjust brightness of the fi ber
optic
.
• Use buttons INCREASE and/or DECREASE to adjust the brightness level.
NOTE: A value ranging from 1 to 16 can be set.
The following values can be set using the fast selection buttons:
- button “MAX”: level 16,
- button “MED”: level 8,
- button “MIN”: level 1.
• To confi rm the selected brightness level, press multifunction button ESC
to quit this submenu.
NOTE: the fi ber optics automatically switch off after 30 seconds.
Removing the handpiece.
• The nozzle (
a
) is screwed onto the grip (
b
).
• Turn the selector switch counter-clockwise (LED
g
off) and press the
button (
c
) to take the grip off the syringe casing.
Removable syringe cord
The syringe has a removable cord to ease cleaning (see chapter 5).
Cleaning.
Use soft disposable paper towel dampened with detergents/disinfec-
tants.
ATTENTION!
• Do not soak the syringe in liquid disinfectants or detergents.
• Products not recommended: harsh products and/or products con-
taining acetone, chlorine and sodium hypochlorites.
Disinfection.
Syringe nozzle and handpiece: up to 135 °C (2 bar) in autoclave.
Minimum time: 15 min.
NOTE: Bag before sterilizing.
