7 - MAINTENANCE

Accumulator

WARNING

Pressurized system!
The accumulator contains highly pressurized nitrogen gas. If the accumulator system does not func-
tion correctly, replace the accumulator. DO NOT attempt to repair the accumulator.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

If the ride control accumulator must be replaced for any reason, always follow the instructions on the decal located
on the accumulator mounting plate.

1.

Discharge all hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic
system.

2.

Disconnect the hydraulic line between the accumu-
lator and the solenoid valves.

3.

Test the accumulator and solenoid. Refer to the Ser-
vice Manual for complete instructions.
