7 - MAINTENANCE
Every 50 hours
Fuel system water separator
Drain the water separator and check the fuel for water or sediment every 50 hours.
NOTE: A clear bowl allows a visible check of the fuel for
water. If water or sediment are present, drain water out of
the filter and the fuel tank.

1. Remove the wire connector attached to the bottom
of the drain valve for the water separator.

Press on the wire clasp that holds the connec-
tor to the drain to remove.

2. Hold a small container under the water separator and
loosen the drain valve.
3. Collect a small amount of fluid and inspect for water
or sediment.
4. Drain until water or sediment is no longer present.
5. Close the drain valve.
