
7 - MAINTENANCE
Every 500 hours
ROPS cab and seat mount
Check the ROPS canopy or cab, the lower frame, and the seat mount every 500 hours of operation for damage or
wear and for proper hardware torque.
1.
Check the torque of the ROPS mounting bolts. Spec-
ification is
298 - 358 N·m
(
220 - 264 lb ft
).

Front right hand side shown. Check both sides.

Check the torque of the ROPS mounting bolts. Spec-
ification is

Tighten the bolts as needed.
4.
Check the seat mounting bolts for damage, wear, or
looseness.
5.
Tighten or change the mounting bolts as needed.
6.
Check the seat belt, buckles, retractors, tethers, and
slack take-up system for damage or wear.
Keep
sharp edges and items that can cause damage away
from the belts.
7.
Replace as needed. Replace belts that have cuts
that make the belt weak.
8.
Check for cracks, rust, or holes in the ROPS and
ROPS parts. Age, weather, and accidents can cause
damage to the ROPS and ROPS parts. If you have
any doubt about the integrity of the ROPS system,
contact your dealer.
