AED description
Cardiac Science’s Powerheart® G3 Elite AEDs are public access
AEDs. They are portable, battery operated, self-testing units used
to diagnose and treat life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias in
patients who are unresponsive and not breathing normally.
The G3 Powerheart® Elite AED is available with semi-automatic
or fully automatic functionality. It includes pre-connected rescue
electrode pads, user-paced rescue prompting, and CPR coaching.
A patient’s electrocardiogram (ECG) is monitored and a
defibrillation shock is delivered if necessary. Voice and text
prompts provide simple directions to guide the user during a
rescue.
