4.9 Detector, Wallstand
WARNING!
• Before setting or adjusting the detector and other equipment, complete the setting
of the counterweights.
• Whenever any item is removed from the Wallstand, e.g. the lateral armrest, the de-
tector holder will become highly unbalanced.
• Whenever the brake is released, it will move upwards and may cause injury.
• Make sure that the operation will be done by personnel who are trained in the use of
the equipment.
• Shutdown the power when changing a permanent detector.
• Confirm that it is not possible to elevate. If the detector holder elevates accidentally
while work is being carried out, it may fall against the worker and result in serious
injury.
CAUTION!
Do not put any load on the detector tray. It might be damaged.
CAUTION!
Always supervise movements of the detector to avoid collision with peripherals.
Note!
This instruction applies only to the portable image receptor.
Note!
• Depending on left or right operated Wallstand, the location of the detector tray and position
of button and latches is different.
Note!
If the System includes more than one detector, assure that the active detector is used.
