10.2.14 Set-point value at 0 %, but operating
fluid still flows (MFC büS/CANopen with
proportional valve)
Cause Solution
The operating pressure is
above the tight sealing pressure
of the proportional valve.
Reduce the operating pres-
sure.
To eliminate the defect, re-
turn the product to the man-
ufacturer.
10.2.15 Set-point value at 0 %, but operating
fluid still flows (MFC Analogue for
modular actuator)
Identify the cause to solve the problem:
Cause Solution
The operating mode of the
product is set to
Open-loop
control mode , and the actuator
is open because the digital in-
put triggers the opening of the
actuator.
Either set the MFC to the
normal operating mode.

Cause Solution
The connected actuator is a
proportional valve and the op-
erating pressure is above the
tight sealing pressure of the
proportional valve.
Reduce the operating pres-
sure.
To eliminate the defect, re-
turn the product to the man-
ufacturer
The connected actuator is a
pump and there is pressure up-
stream the pump. The pressure
makes the fluid flow. Pressure
can be due to an incorrect posi-
tion of the fluid container.
Install the fluid container in
such a way that no pressure
is generated upstream the
pump.

erating pressure is above the

proportional valve.
