Antenna Blocking
Make sure your antenna’s path is not being blocked by the
tree you mounted your camera to. Just by moving your
antenna and or camera can make the difference between
no signal and getting a good signal. See the Antenna Set
Up drawing supplied with your system.
Extend Battery Life
Use solar chargers! Solar chargers will not only extend
the time between charges but will also help during those
cold weather months.
Make sure to have a good signal strength - poor signal
strength means longer transmission times. Longer trans-
mission times consumes more battery power.
Change Camera Delay to a longer setting between pic-
tures. Also make sure to have spare batteries and keep
them charged!
Battery life (time between charging) depends upon a
number of factors. Since we offer a wide range of user
options it will be difficult to estimate the battery life for
every application.
Optional: Use the Battery Bank. Contact BuckEye Cam for
pricing and additional information.
