12. Setting Time and Date on the
Portable Base
Note 1: The BuckEye Cam
TM
uses Military settings
when displaying the time.
Note 2: The time and date is maintained with a 3V
Lithium battery located next to the On/Off switch.
You only need to set the Time and Date on the Portable
Base. The Camera(s) will be updated automatically when
it communicates with the Portable Base.
NOTE: If you are using a Camera in Stand-Alone Mode,
you may want to verify that the time is correct before
placing your Camera. If the time is incorrect, perform the
steps listed here on the Camera.
1.
Press and hold the
Set Clock
button for two seconds
until
Hours
appears on the display. Release the Set
Clock button.
2.
Press the
Up
or
Down
button to set the Hour.
3.
Press the
Set Clock
button to display
Minute
.
4.
Press the
Up
or
Down
button to set the Minute.
5.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 to update Seconds, Day, Month,
and Year.
Note, when updating seconds, pressing UP/
DOWN button will reset seconds to 00.
When the 3V Lithium battery powering the clock gets low
a battery symbol appears and the contrast of the display
decreases. The clock battery may last up to 10 years. Note,
when the base/camera is on, the clock gets power from
the 6V battery and the small lithium battery is not used.
To change the 3V Lithium battery powering the LCD:
1.
Remove the clip
2.
Remove old battery
3.
Insert new battery - be sure polarity is correct
4.
Reinstall the clip
5.
Check the battery status on the display
6.
Reset the Time.
