– This selection will display camera information.
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to view:
1. Serial number of the unit (-Sn- is displayed in the
upper right corner);
2. Version of the firmware installed on the camera;
AddCAM
– Use this menu to add another camera to
the system. You can add up to 14 cameras to one base
unit. Each new camera will be given the next available
label. Cameras 1 through 9 are labeled with a digit.
Cameras 10 through 14 are labeled with a letter A, b,
C, d, and E. Refer to “Adding a Camera to a Portable
Base System” section on page 18.
DelCAM
– Removes a camera from the system. For
proper and reliable unregistration, place the camera
within several feet of the base to make sure there is
reliable communication between the base and the
camera. Turn on power to the camera and wait until it
powers up and Ver___ message is displayed. Press the
SIGNAL button on the camera to make sure the cam-
era and base can “talk”. Note the camera number
(index) in the upper right corner of the display. Next
select DelCAM from the menu on the base unit, use
UP/DOWN buttons to select the camera that you want
unregistered and press SELECT button. Confirm the
deletion by selecting DelYES from the menu. After the
camera is unregistered, the base will show DELETD
message with deleted camera number. The camera will
display PwrOFF prompting you to turn the power off.
13. Battery
On Camera:
Press this button to view the Battery
status of the unit.
On Base:
Press this button to open the battery menu.
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select the base unit or
one of the camera units. Press SELECT button to get
the status of that unit. The base status will be dis-
played immediately. It may take several seconds to get
the status of the battery on the camera. During that
time the display will show –WAIT- message.
