11. Rotate the Brake Disc to check for any interference with the Brake As-
sembly.
Note:
The Brake Disc will only rotate in one direction and may slightly
“wobble”. This is normal.
If the Brake Disc does not touch the Brake Assembly when rotated, skip to
Step 21.
If the Brake Disc does touch the Brake Assembly when rotated, on which side
does it touch?
- On the front side (toward the machine) of the Brake Disc. Skip to Step 18.
- On the back side (away from the machine) of the Brake Disc. Continue to
Step 12.
12. If the Brake Assembly is interfering with the back side of the Brake Disc,
the provided Brake Arm Spacer must be added to the Servo Motor Arm.
Push the Release Tab away from the Servo Motor while supporting the Brake
Assembly. If the Servo Motor is secured by screws, remove them.
13. Now slightly shift the Servo Motor toward the front of the machine while still
supporting the Brake Assembly. As the Brake Assembly is released, allow it to
gently pivot downward.
Note:
Observe how components are attached to assist with re-assembly.
14. With the Brake Assembly released and pivoted downward, slide it out of
the Pivot Housing. Note the angle the Brake Assembly must be held at to slide
it into or out of the Pivot Housing.
